J Henderson St. Edmund Campion School - Birmingham CommentsDear Friends, You have a wonderful website. I found it by by going to the address for Christingle. I'm interested in learning more about Christingle. I say on your website there is a liturgy connected with it. Does it include Christmas Carols? We're looking for a simple program to have in place of a traditional Christmas Pageant at our church. Is it possible you could send it to me by e-mail? Thank you so much. Have a blessed Advent! The Rev. Jane F. Flaherty Rector, St. Christopher's Episcopal Church 3300 Cedar Lane Portsmouth, Virginia 23703 USA CommentsI JUST WANT TO SAY HELLO I JUST WANT TO THANK ALL MY TEACHERS FOR THE SUPPORT AND HELP THAT THEY GAVE IT BEING GREAT OVER THE PAST FIVE YEARS . IT IS A VERY GOOD SITE KEEP IT UP. CommentsJust thought I'd say hello. I've visited your site briefly and hope to return in the future. I am a PGCE student looking for information that may help me CommentsCongratulations to the whole school on getting your Eco-Schools Award. Friday was a great celebration of the event and you should all be very proud. CommentsIt's great to have a site where syllabus information, exam boards and curriculum requirements are all easily accessible. I'll be recommending it to my colleagues. It's a shame that the school howlers didn't appear to reveal anything. CommentsI was at Painsley from 1983-1988 and still remember two teachers - Mrs Clarke (Biology) and Mr Helm (PE) who had a lot of (positive) influence over me. Mr Irving put the fear of God in us (which I'm sure was his aim - I probably would have understood history lessons much more if he hadn't scared me so much) and Mrs Patterson (anyone remember her?) was evil and I hated every single lesson I had with her! Anyone know of A Jagger or E Flynn? Commentsvery impressed with your school, teachers and pupils. CommentsI think the website is very good. It is very enjoyable and efficient. The website is also very useful. Amazing - as I live in Cheadle - I didn't realise Cheadle had reached the Cyberspace age yet ;) CommentsGOOD, BUT NOT AS GOOD AS LEEK HIGHS! NO I THOUROUGHLY ENJOYED VISITING THIS SITE. CommentsI was very interested to visit your site, it was recommended to me by Stafforshire University as an excellent example and I agree. CommentsGood Website, Did you use Frontpage 98? CommentsHi sir this is my second message in this guest book so I hope you find this one. This site is all right as long as it doesn't lose this message but the background to the heading is a bit dogey try something a little less morbid, barbed wire is not exactly inviting! Oh and by the way this : ) means smile and this means % ) that I have been looking at this monitor to long. Mr Challinor is the best teacher in the school!! CommentsI am a proud past pupil of Painsley High school way back in 1987-1992. I loved that place very dearly and since my education their I have go on to do great things. I am now at the famous University of Florida in the United States and I will be graduating shortly. Does Joe Malkin still teach at Painsley and if so I would love to hear from him - who knows, perhaps we could organise a school reunion for the class of '78? Kind regards Rob

CommentsDoes anyone ever sign this guestbook or what? I didn't go to this school but i know some pupils and thought that i'd check out the site and was suprised at how good it has been produced! WELL DONE!
CommentsThis is Andrew Brassington AKA Brasso. The comment dated 27/9/99 isn't mine. I'm not an eco-warrior and definitely don't snog trees. In retrospect, my five years at Painsley (1995-2000) were great. I couldn't have gone to a better school. All the teachers were good in making people do their work, which is why the school gets such good results. Thanks to Mr. Challinor and Mr. Irving in particular. Also thanks to Miss Dunkley. I got a B at GCSE in the end. I guess the last minute bible reading helped.
CommentsJust dropping a short note to say i am really impressed by your website, really nice to look at and ful of interesting information. Evelyn Anderson Communications Unit Education Department North Lanarkshire Council Scotland

CommentsEX PUPIL 76 - 81. I,m pleased to see that Painsley is going from strength to strength. My only regret was that there was no computers at the school until after i left. Is Mr Irving still there.? or Mr Malkin. he used to put his head in his hands at my maths skills! All the best for the future. Andy Brookes. STAFFORD.
Commentswell, well, well what do we have here? not a bad effort at creating a web site. I do like the guest book very nice to be allowed to voice an opinion.(makes a change). As you all know I was the best behaved pupil ever to go to Painsley but now I'm leaving and theres no one to take my place... not even my sister she has become a rebel and has a detention on 24th May 2000 (her birthday)Thanks Ms Hanrahan it made my day to read the letter sent to tell my parents that Lucy has a detention.. keep it up ... all the best T-Bag(the king) P.S. what did Sheep do on the web site?
CommentsI greatly enjoyed your web site, particularly the RE department's pages. You might be pleased to know that the RE page was the Web Site of the Week on our school's Problems Box Replies, a weekly set of replies to problems Pupils post in the School's Problems Box. It also includes a Thought for the Week, as well as a review of the School's attendance figures for the previous week. Very best wishes, Steve Harrington Deputy Headteacher St Aelred's Catholic High School, Newton-le-Willows Merseyside

CommentsHello Painsley, Wil here. Just wanted to sign the guest book before I do some hard I.T work! I would also like to say that this web-site is very useful, so thanx for settin' it up. Enjoy life, WillTheChill
CommentsI was just browsing the net and came across this site with Sophie Warrilow's name mentioned. We currently live continents away although this media brings all of us closer. It's such a small world now. Anyway, I happen to see St. Giles mentioned and I've encountered this particular name searching for additional information about my grandfather. Apparently born in Reading and baptised in Wargrave. A great website. thanks dw
CommentsJust a note to say how impressed I am with the amount of excellent material on your Signposts site. As an RE teacher covering the NEAB I found it very comprehensive and a useful resource. keep up the good work!!!
CommentsAwesome!
CommentsBrilliant concept and well done! Is there any way that I can advertise my Male Voice Choir that is based in Cheadle called the Churnet Valley MVC? I have build a site currently on my free web space with Freeserve as follows. [email protected]/choirwebpages and am currently looking for a new home for it!
CommentsEx-pupil 75-79. First time I`ve looked for about 12 months and the transformation is amazing. I sometimes find the net slow and clumsy but not in this case. Absolutely fascinating, well done, proud to be an ex-pupil (even though PC`s were not invented in my day!!). Shame the ex-pupil directory is not more widely used.
CommentsI have visited your site today looking for information about the exam results at your school. My daughter is 8 years old and we live in forsbrook and I am considering your school as opposed to Newcastle under lyme school as I am informed that your results are equally as good.If you have any more information that you feel may be of use to me would you please forward to 24 Hillside Ave Forsbrook Stoke on Trent ST11 9BH
