Welcome to Painsley, Small
Worlds, a collection of web sites
designed for use by members of the Painsley Community and for parents, students
and teachers, in schools and other educational organisations across the
U.K.
Painsley Small Worlds consists of four main areas:
- Corridors- Take a look inside
Painsley Catholic High School for exam results, general
information, a prospectus, policy documents,
development plans and an on line calendar.
Contact old friends by visiting the school directory in Friends
of Painsley. Find out how to join the PTA or
become a School Governor.
- Classroom- An area from which
you will be able to access all the subject / department sites within our
school. Many of the sites have won awards and have very useful
curriculum content and resources.
- Community - All of us
sometimes need to access information that deals with the world at large, but more
often we are interested in local issues and information that affects our
everyday lives. We are interested in creating and supporting web sites
that can be used by communities for their own specialized needs; sites that
focus on the local issues whether it's for a school, a church, a village, a
town, a small group of people or simply some localized idea.
- Chalkface - Chalkface is a
resource area for teachers. It contains links to Painsley web sites
whose aim is to provide teachers with help and assistance. The sites
are not necessarily curriculum based.
- Communicate - Please leave a
message in our guestbook, start up a
discussion or join our mailing
list.
