Aim:

To consider Catholic beliefs and teaching on issues related to life and death.

 

Objectives:

·        To consider arguments for and against life after death and Catholic teaching.

·        Reasons to believe in life after death.

·        To understand the Sanctity of Human life including statements given by the church (Gen 1, Exodus 20:13, Romans 14:8, 1 Cor 6:19).

·        The moral issue of abortion, the law and arguments about it from a Catholic and other perspectives.

·        The moral issue of Euthanasia, in its different forms, the law and arguments about it from a Catholic and other Christian and secular perspectives.

2.     Life after death, the arguments for and against.

3.     Abortion the facts.

4.     Differing views on abortion.

5.     Euthanasia the facts.

6.     Differing views on Euthanasia.

7.     Assessment.
