Aim:

To explore a variety of attitudes to marriage and related issues.

 

Objectives:

·        The Catholic view of marriage as expressed in the Catholic marriage service.

·        Societies attitude to cohabitation and marriage.

·        Christian views on pre-marital sex and adultery.

·        Attitudes to divorce, including the Catholic teaching and the process of Annulment.

·        The changing nature of family in Britain, the Catholic teaching on family and upbringing, and how the church assists in this role.

·        Christian attitudes to Homosexuality.
