The following are only suggestions; you MUST come up with your own ideas and substantiate them with examples.

Christians should lead active lives:

Jesus sent his disciples to be apostles with specific tasks (Mark 6: 7-13). We should follow this example.

The commission says we should "Go into the world and �" (Mark 16:16).

Jesus, mission was largely active.

Christians should be Christ like, therefore we should do the kind of work he did.

Christianity is a way of life not just a religion, and therefore should affect all aspects of life.

We all have a vocation to evangelise.

The parable of the sheep and the goats refer to our duty to help others (Matthew 25:31-46).

The greatest commandment is to love God and neighbour (Mark 12: 28-37).

 

Christians should live contemplative lives:

The first of the greatest commandments to love God, this should come above all others.

Becoming close to God is essential for Christians, this is thought especially so by the mystics.

Jesus praised the example of Mary over Martha (Luke 10:38-42)

Jesus outlined the importance of a life of prayer (Matthew 6:7-15)

Jesus himself often went off to pray, especially in times of need. EG, Gethsemane.

God warns against abuses and excesses of the body, which can be so easily assumed in life (1Cor 12:1-3)

Jesus warns against the possibility of becoming tangled up in material possessions (Mark 4:1-9, Mark 10:17-22).

Love is considered the single most important emotion in Christianity (1Cor 13: 13), and love of God is beyond all other love.

St. Benedict claimed that prayer is work.

Contemplative orders also do important Christian work through offering intercessions, retreats, counselling and manufacturing goods.
