OUTLINE OF MODULES

TERM 1

1. Community and responsibility

This module examines the idea of Christian community and how this

sense of community is expressed in Christian life and practice.

TERM 2

2. Belief and action

An exploration of the life, actions and example of Jesus

Christian belief about death and life after death

TERM 3

3. Worship - Sign, Symbol and Sacrament

Pupils will consider ideas about what is sacred - times places and people.

This will lead to an exploration of prayer and sacrament

4. Family Life Education

A look at the development of human life from the earliest stages and a reflection on the

Introduction

An introductory lesson can be very flexible and deal with one or all of the aims mentioned below. It is designed simply as a precursor to the course and as an introduction to their study of Religious Education at Painsley.
