You do this work in pairs.
One of you is a Radio Reporter, the other is
Saint Mark. Imagine Mark is just about to publish his Gospel. You
must plan and carry out an in-depth interview with Saint Mark
about who he is (was), why he wrote the Gospel, and who it is
for.
Your questions (and answers) should cover at
least the following subject areas.
Who Mark is.
Why he wrote the Gospel (what he intended it for).
When the Gospel was written.
Who the Gospel is meant for.
What kind of book the Gospel is meant to be
Where Mark got his information from.
What Mark is trying to get over in his
Gospel.
Rather than ask these questions straight, break
them down and rephrase them.
For example: Who are you? Is probably better replaced by questions like: 'What drove you to write this book? Did you ever meet Jesus? '
Also, you could give information about the
date in the interviewer's introduction.
To plan your interview, you
should do the following:
Note: there may be an opportunity for you to perform
your interview.
