Faith and Prayer

  1. Miracles of Healing

Mark tells a story how Jesus performed two miracles within a short period of time, when he healed the woman with a haemorrhage and raised the daughter of Lazarus.

Describe one of these stories, paying attention to:

the words and actions of those who come to Jesus;
the words and actions of Jesus.
the words and actions of onlookers.

  1. The Power of Prayer

On one occasion Jesus said ‘Everything is possible to those who believe’. What difficulties are there for Christians today in believing in the power of prayer? Is it possible to believe that prayers are answered? Show that you have considered different points of view.
