There are formal arrangements for reporting children's progress to families. An Open Evening is held each term when parents have an appointment with their child's Class Teacher. Parents receive an annual written report, based on National Curriculum assessments.

A regular school bulletin provides information on various topics.

Parents are encouraged to contact the school with any problem affecting their child. An appointment can be made immediately so that the child's progress is not impaired. Class Teachers are seen every morning and afternoon on the playground at the beginning and end of each school day. The office is open from  8.30 a.m. each morning. Class Teachers are the first contact, then the Headteacher, then Governing Body.

All schools are increasingly dependent upon voluntary fund-raising activities and our well established Parent Teacher and Friends Association (P.TFA.) has raised thousands of pounds for the school over the years.

The P.TF.A. is a vital link in our Home/School relationship and meets monthly in school. All families are automatically enrolled as members and are encouraged to participate fully. There is an open invitation to every meeting. Many of the events are purely social and serve a role in the local parish community.

Parents are encouraged to help within school wherever and whenever possible as indicated earlier in this prospectus. Anyone with a little time to spare is asked to contact school.
