The Scottish Council for Educational Technology (SCET) bookmark selection has a search by category facility. Select 'Music' or 'Primary'.

The Children's Music Web - Dedicated to 'music for kids', this American site containing lots of information and links.

The BBC Education website's index. Search for Music by either Primary or Secondary.

Composers' Biographies and their Works - Contains a comprehensive list of composers with brief biography and recommended recordings to listen to.

Online Music dictionary The World of Music - A multicultural site introducing music from Africa, Japan and South America.

Jazz Online - Contains interesting downloads and archives.

The Blue Highway - One of the best blues history sites that includes sound clips from   famous blues artists.

Kit Eakle's Virtual Music Classroom - Songs and games, Composer of the month, music resources for teachers, lesson plans.
