The Spiritual Life of Painsley Catholic High School

Welcome to the Web Site of the Chapel of Painsley RC High School, Cheadle. As our school chapel is called the Upper Room, we have chosen this name for our Web Site too. We hope that you find browsing the site an interesting and rewarding experience. We include pages about the Spiritual Activities which take place at Painsley RC High School, including information about Masses, Liturgies and Retreats.We also have some pages of liturgical reference and resources, which may be of wider interest. Of particular interest may be our Online Prayer Book. You can leave requests for prayer here. Your petitions are printed out each week and placed on the altar at the weekly mass. They are also read, of course, by everyone who visits those pages. The Prayers area also contains a Treasury of Prayer, and the Daily Prayers used at Painsley RC High School. You can also see our Photo Album, which has photographs of retreats and other activities at Painsley. There is also a photo album of some local churches. As with most of the Painsley site, all of this material is to be found on the Painsley Intranet. As some pages have large images, you may find some pages take some time to load. Sorry about that. The work and activities of the Upper Room are featured on a powerpoint presentation, click here to view or download it.
