The Painsley R.C High School is a Voluntary Aided Catholic School established by the Archdiocese of Birmingham for boys and girls of all abilities between the ages of 11 and 18. The school not only serves Cheadle itself but also the neighbouring parishes of Leek, Uttoxeter, Tean, Cresswell, Fulford, Alton, Caverswall, Werrington, Meir, Kingsley and Cotton.
