Teacher Trails was created and is maintained
by Peter Challinor and Peter Weatherby. Both are teachers at Painsley R.C. High School.
They also design web sites under their own Tarantula banner.
Peter John Challinor
Peter is an ex-employee of British Coal. He became a Chartered Engineer in 1991 and gained
several junior management postings before leaving Trentham Colliery in 1993. After
completing a P.G.C.E in Mathematics and I.T at Keele University in 1995, he secured a
teaching position at his present school. Peter now teaches mathematics and I.C.T. He is
the I.C.T Development Officer for the school and a Head of Year.

Peter John Weatherby
Peter Weatherby bought his first computer in 1980 - a ZX80 no less, and spent weeks
marvelling when the screen blanked each time he touched a key. Now he marvels when his
temperamental PC doesn't crash when he tries to edit an HTML file bigger than 30k.
Back in 1980 he had just left Oxford University and was training to be a minister in the
Anglican church. Twelve years later, having lived in different parts of the UK, he settled
in Stoke on Trent, and left the Church of England to become a teacher. He was ordained a
priest in the Catholic Church in 1997.
Peter's aim in life is to become Webmaster to the Pope.
